DIY Card Scraper from an Old Hand Saw

An old hand saw with missing teeth was too far gone to resharpen, so instead of tossing it I turned it into a card scraper. I cut a rectangle out of the blade with an angle grinder, ground and sanded the edges flat, and then worked on getting a burr onto the edge — which turned out to need a proper burnisher from Hock Tools, since nothing else I tried was hard enough to do the job. Once I had that burr, the scraper pulled real shavings instead of just dust, and turned a rusted, broken saw into a tool I'll actually keep using.
