DIY Marking Knife (upcycle)

I made a marking knife entirely out of stuff I already had lying around — the handle from a broken hickory hatchet handle, and the blade from a spare paddle bit I'd been holding onto. Total cost: nothing. It's a simple build, but a good example of how much of a marking knife you can make just by raiding the scrap and hardware bins.
