DIY Welded Toolrest for Wood Mini-Lathe

The tool rest that came with my mini lathe was too limiting, so I welded a bigger one out of scrap hot-rolled angle and steel rod. It's only a couple inches wider than the original, but that's enough to make a real difference turning larger work, and I kept it sized to fit my lathe's banjo without overloading its 5/8-inch shaft.
