Drilling pen blanks one-handed while running the drill press with the other always felt like a hassle, so I built a quick jig to hold them steady. It's just a scrap of construction lumber and a cheap butt hinge, with handles I turned on the lathe using a skew chisel — simple, but it does exactly what I needed.
