Hammer Handle Replacement

A while back, the handle broke on one of my framing hammers. Although it would be easier to just get another one, I decided to repair it by making a new handle. The wood is white oak, from the firewood pile. The specific piece was a casualty of last year’s ice storm.

It seems like everything is disposable these days. I like the idea of fixing things instead of constantly acquiring new stuff and putting the old stuff in the landfill.

Cheap or Lazy? Cheap.
